Smith Land Outdoors is proud to be a leader in sustainable landscaping and landscape installation. We exclusively use all-electric landscaping equipment, minimizing our carbon footprint and contributing to a cleaner, greener environment. We don't just talk about sustainability, we live it. Our commitment to eco-friendly practices extends to every aspect of our work, from plant selection to hardscape materials, ensuring your landscape not only looks beautiful but also contributes to a healthier planet.
Electric Equipment
Our enclosed trailer features four Renogy solar panels, a controller, an inverter, and two Dakota Lithium deep-cycle batteries. This allows us to charge our landscaping equipment batteries with solar energy. For the majority of our mowing, we rely on a Toro Revolution Grandstand 52". This mower has treated us extremely well over the past year. All of our handheld equipment such as trimmers, edgers, pruners, and blowers are Toro or STIHL battery-powered units.
